This Refund Policy governs all payments made to SIGMA International Board (“SIGMA”, "SIB", “we”, “us”, “our”) for applications, registrations, affiliations, certifications, accreditations, memberships, examinations, and related services.
By making any payment to SIB, the applicant (“you”, “centre”, “institute”, “member”) agrees to be bound by this Refund Policy in full.

1. General Policy
All fees paid to SIB are non-transferable and subject to the terms stated herein. Payments made towards application processing, inspection, evaluation, certification, accreditation, or affiliation are primarily used for administrative, technical, and professional assessment services.

2. Refund in Case of Non-Approval
If an applying centre or institute is not approved by SIB after due evaluation and audit, only 50% of the total amount paid shall be eligible for refund.
The remaining 50% shall be retained by SIB towards administrative charges, evaluation costs, documentation processing, technical review, and professional time invested.

3. No Refund in Other Cases
No refund shall be provided in the following circumstances:
a. If approval has been granted and later withdrawn due to non-compliance.
b. If the applicant withdraws the application voluntarily after payment.
c. If the applicant fails to provide required documents, infrastructure, or compliance.
d. If delays occur due to the applicant’s failure to respond or cooperate.
e. If services have already been initiated or partially delivered.
f. If certification, affiliation, or accreditation has been issued.

4. Mode and Timeline of Refund
Eligible refunds, if applicable, shall be processed only through the original mode of payment.
Refund processing may take up to 30 working days from the date of official rejection notice issued by SIB.
No cash refunds shall be made.

5. Discretionary Authority
SIB reserves the absolute right to determine eligibility for any refund in accordance with this policy. All decisions made by SIB regarding refund eligibility and amount shall be final and binding.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes arising under or in connection with this Refund Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

7. Policy Updates
SIB reserves the right to modify or amend this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on the official platform shall be applicable.
