This Cancellation Policy governs all requests for cancellation related to applications, certifications, accreditations, affiliations, memberships, examinations, and other professional services offered by SIGMA International Board (“SIGMA”, "SIB", “we”, “us”, “our”).
By submitting any application or making any payment to SIB, the applicant (“you”, “centre”, “institute”, “member”) agrees to be bound by this Cancellation Policy in full.

1. General Policy
All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing through the official communication channel of SIB. Verbal or informal cancellation requests shall not be considered valid.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle the applicant to a refund. All refunds, if applicable, shall be governed strictly by the SIB Refund Policy.

2. Cancellation by Applicant
An applicant or institute may request cancellation of an application or service before final approval or certification is issued. However, once the application process has commenced, including document verification, evaluation, audit, or administrative processing, cancellation shall not entitle the applicant to a full refund.
If cancellation is requested due to non-approval of a centre or institute, the refund (if any) shall be processed strictly in accordance with the SIB Refund Policy.

3. Cancellation After Approval
No cancellation shall be accepted once certification, accreditation, or affiliation has been granted and issued.
No refund shall be provided after approval under any circumstances.

4. Cancellation Due to Non-Compliance
SIB reserves the right to cancel or terminate any application, certification, accreditation, or affiliation if:

False or misleading information is provided

Required documents or compliance are not submitted

SIB standards, protocols, or Terms & Conditions are violated

The applicant fails to cooperate with audits or verification processes
In such cases, no refund shall be payable.

5. Cancellation of Programs or Services by SIB
SIB reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any service, program, or application process due to operational, legal, or force majeure reasons. In such cases, refund or adjustment (if any) shall be at the sole discretion of SIB.

6. Processing of Cancellation Requests
All cancellation requests must include:
Applicant or institute name
Registered contact details
Application or registration reference number
Reason for cancellation
SIB shall review the request and communicate its decision in writing. All decisions regarding cancellation shall be final and binding.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes arising under or in connection with this Cancellation Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.

8. Policy Updates
SIB reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version published shall be applicable.
